In building an online store, the sequence of pages accessed by potential buyers is a very important element. The common funnels we use: Online Store Funnel Types of online store funnels Description: 1. Landing page views is the event that is first fired when someone visits the website exclusively from ads only. Not everyone who visits your website will be tagged with LP views by Meta. Only people who came from ads are “entitled” to be tagged by this event. 2. Add to cart event is typically applied to pages that don’t have a form on the landing page. 3. Initiated checkout is an event attributed to the moment of decision-making by potential buyers. It usually occurs when the buyer has decided what they will purchase, before then filling in payment data. 4. Add payment info is typically applied when a potential buyer has filled in their payment data on the website. It generally occurs when someone has entered credit card data. 5. Purchase is applied when a purchase has been completed. It generally occurs when the buyer has paid. In the case of online transactions in Indonesia, there is a somewhat unique payment method, namely COD. Specifically for COD, this purchase event can be applied when the buyer has confirmed the purchase and agreed to the shipment of goods. Scalev Event Flow

How to place them?

Placing LP Views Online Store Funnel 2 Installing the ViewContent event 1. Enter the Landing Page menu 2. Press the New Landing Page button 3. Find the Settings menu 4. Then select the “ViewContent” event (with the note that you have already set up FB Pixel on your Scalev) I’m looking for the Landing Page View event using the Chrome Extension FB Pixel Helper but can’t find it? Remember that LP Views is View Content that is first accessed from an ad. You will only find the term Landing Page View on the ad dashboard. Placing Add To Cart There are 2 ways to install the add to cart event:
  1. On the button
  2. On the page that is targeted by the add to cart button
You can choose between these two methods with the following considerations: 1. If you place it on the button, the event will fire the moment the button is clicked; regardless of whether the page after it works or not. Usually fans of event placement on buttons are online store owners with funnels no. 4 and 5. From me, not recommended. 2. If you place it on a certain page after the button is clicked, the data will be more integrity. This means the numbers that appear on our ads dashboard can truly be trusted. If there are 100 ATCs, that means the ATC page was genuinely opened 100 times from ads. I prefer the second method. To install an event on a button, open your Scalev Landing Page Studio (LPS), then find the button element. When setting it up, you will find this menu: Online Store Funnel 3 Adding an event to a button To install it on a certain page that is targeted after the add to cart button is clicked (funnels 1, 2, and 3), you can install it as usual. Here’s an example: Online Store Funnel 4 Installing an event when the page opens Placing Initiated Checkout This event will be placed right after the potential buyer (store visitor) fills out the form. To set it up in Scalev, you need to first configure what product you are offering to visitors and connect it in the form through the online order form component. Online Store Funnel 5 Placing an event in the form component When the online order form component > order form is selected, your landing page editor will automatically display 2 contents as follows: Online Store Funnel 6 Product / Bundle and Order Form Components
  • The Product/Bundle content is related to what product you will connect to the order form. You configure the product variants to be installed and so on.
  • While the Order Form content relates to the form field settings; whether to use sub-districts, addresses, coupon codes, etc.
I won’t explain too much about the product and order form elements. You can learn them directly in Scalev. Let’s get back to the main topic. To set the initiated checkout event, you go to the gear button I marked with an arrow in the image above. Once there, scroll down, and you will find settings like this: Online Store Funnel 7 Event settings on the form Please fill in with the appropriate event. Scalev’s default is pre-filled with the Initiated Checkout event. But if you want to use the API, simply change the default to Add Payment Info. Placing the Purchase Event Purchase settings are a bit different in Scalev. We don’t set it at the landing page level, but in the store area. Online Store Funnel 8 Purchase event settings are located in the Store After you enter the Store menu, go into the store you already have. You will find a menu like the one below on the right side of the screen once you’ve entered the store. Click on the section I marked with an arrow. Online Store Funnel 9 Location of Trigger Event Purchase settings After that, you will see the following menu options: Online Store Funnel 10 Trigger Purchase for Bank Transfer Online Store Funnel 11 Trigger Purchase for COD Pay close attention to the default settings in Scalev. If you think they already match your store, then there’s no need to change anything. But if something is different according to you, please adjust it yourself. One checked condition will be enough to trigger a purchase in your store, which will then be sent back to Meta; with the note that your conversion API settings are correct. If you’re not sure about your store’s Conversion API settings, please contact Scalev Support. If you have set EVERYTHING (full event settings from arriving at your Landing Page - Try to Order - Purchase), you can test and ensure everything is correct by following the tutorial in this article: How to Test Pixel in Events Manager.
Your online store website funnel settings are complete. If there’s anything you don’t understand, please ask. Thank you.
